Nothing happens without a reason and our life is not only about good moments.
As i see it - there is really nothing wrong with that. The bad times approach us to in order to show us something very significant. Our generation lives in particularly good times and our values changed over time as well. It is hard for us to imagine that we may don't have food in the fridge, a place to sleep or even the privilege to take a shower. It is hard for us to imagine that we can't say what we want to say... that we don't have right to express our opinion. That we don't have our FREEDOM. The first place of family and friends was replaced by money, career and material things. The "fast life" is chasing us everywhere. We live fast die "fast", we are afraid of death because actually we had never truly lived.
Now is the time to stop and think for a second... eventually we will die, everybody will, this is one fair thing in our existence. That the fact we are here today is a GIFT and nobody have ever promised us TOMORROW. Without experiencing the bad moments we would never be able to appreciate the good one.
Take your time, stop and think about the things you can be thankful for... and i'm not saying as a "life couch" but as a normal human being.
Don't wait for the bad moments to appreciate the life. Start from today...The is no need to give up all you have and travel into unknown.. the secret lies in the simplicity. Wake up and be thankful that one more day is given to you. That you can think, breathe, enjoy, love, work, and finally - for the fact that you're alive. Even if you haven't completed your "to do list" yet and it looks like always everybody is more productive than you. Even if the weather sucks and the soup was too salty again... ;)
hug your loved one little tighter, kiss longer, smile more, don't worry so much, don't focus on material things, appreciate the people you have in your life, just live the moment, because after all, it is all you have, all you have is...
NOW.
